Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A young man working for a private finance company is said to have committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling in the Ashoka Garden community of Bhopal, police said on Sunday.
The youngster identified Kartik Yadav, a resident of Hinautiya under the Ashoka Garden police station, uploaded two videos to his social media page before taking his own life.
In the videos, Yadav blamed one of his elders for his extreme gait.
Yadav worked for Bajaj Finance as an executive. In the videos, which went viral on social media, Yadav claimed he financed an LED TV, using his senior Deepak Choudhary’s Bajaj Finance card.
“In accordance with the agreement, I paid Rs 4000 every month to Deepak Sir for up to six months and later I paid him Rs 2000. But, he has not returned any money to the dealer. dealer called me in. Deepak Sir was also present at the meeting. I informed the dealer that I had paid the installments to Deepak Sir. But, he refused to accept money from me. Now, the croupier forces me to pay Rs 1 lakh against 26000. I am unable to pay this amount. Therefore, I commit suicide ”, we heard say Yadav in the videos.
He claimed that Deepak Choudhary duped four other young people, using the same modus operandi.
Police said Yadav had dinner with members of his family on Saturday evening. He was found hanging from a ceiling in an underbuilt room on the first floor of the house on Sunday morning, police said.
Police said a case had been recorded and an investigation was underway.
