Barings hired a former Deutsche Bank executive as managing director of its Asia-Pacific private finance group.
Justin holey Joins Barings as Managing Director of Private Finance Group APAC, Statement Says, Reporting to Head of Private Finance Group APAC Shane Forster.
Based in Sydney, Hooley is responsible for the origination, underwriting and management of APAC’s private credit investments in developed markets.
He has over two decades of industry experience, including twelve with Deutsche Bank in Sydney, most recently as Head of Credit Opportunities. Previously, he worked in the debt and acquisition teams at Merrill Lynch, BOS International and CIBC.
According to Barings, the US bank has expanded its private equity investment team in Asia by focusing on developed markets like Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong.
