After making a significant impact on Webcor’s in-house legal team, in March 2021 Patrick Kirby was promoted to General Counsel and joined Webcor’s Executive Committee as Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary of the Board of Directors. administration of Webcor, becoming one of the youngest members in the history of the committee and the board. In this vital role, Kirby continues to reorient Webcor’s legal department to provide better project support, work more closely with project teams throughout the project lifecycle, and complete the transition to a more holistic approach to support. Kirby’s private practice experience representing many of the largest general contractors in the United States, who are on many of the nation’s largest and most complex construction projects, combined with his experience on the business side, l have uniquely positioned themselves as Webcor’s General Counsel. He works closely with Webcor’s general, federal, and self-enforcement business units to provide truly integrated legal and business advice and counsel. His expert advice and strong construction law background are key drivers of Webcor’s overall profitability and span the company’s diverse portfolio, which encompasses everything from higher education institutions to public-private partnerships, through major public infrastructure, commercial skyscrapers, luxury residences, and hospitality projects.

Kirby is particularly passionate about his role as it allows him to regularly visit company project sites and interact with a wide range of the workforce, from laborers to senior executives.
