In May 2005 Temper was paid a visit by the hip-hop legend Jazzy Jeff. Jazzy Jeff, who had partnered with The Fresh Prince (Will Smith) in the eighties to bring us landmark tracks such as "Summer Time" and "Girls Aint Nothin But Trouble" to name a few, has gone on to produce outstanding hip-hop records and continued to push the movement forward. He’s been working as an artist for over 20 years, his incredible DJ set just went to show that he hasn’t taken his foot off the pedal as crowds have been blown away by his recent UK tour. Before his live performance at the Medicine Bar in Birmingham, he’d been informed that he had to go and check out local graffiti artist Temper's studio. He was delighted to be invited and was blown away when he saw the work, he had nothing but kind words and enthusiasm to show for his appreciation of Tempers paintings. The two really hit it off and spent a lot of time talking in depth about their growth and careers as artists, a solid new friendship had bonded. Unfortunately he couldn’t stay for too long as he had to fly back to the US to host an awards show, but by the time he’d left, he had already picked out four paintings to adorn the walls of his new home quoting “The man is the most incredible artist I have ever seen, I’m in awe, I’m just trying to take everything in here. Just remember that I said it first, I want that credit”.
